The clients desired an English Country home within an established neighborhood. The design references the traditional character and best details of the local context by use of rich materials; weathered brick, fieldstone, stucco, copper and steep sloped roofs. The informal, asymmetric elevations visually reduce the perceived scale and massing of the house. Interiors provide high ceilings and well proportioned rooms that are illuminated by abundant natural light from large casement windows.
