Responding to a migration back to older intown neighborhoods, a new house was designed for a lot near Chastain Park in Atlanta. The clients preference was to refer to homes characteristic in the Buckhead area providing Tudor details of rustic brick, fieldstone, timber and copper metal work with large windows and french doors filling the house with natural light. The siting took advantage of the sloping grade, providing a day light terrace level with outdoor terrace and screened porch on the main level, overlooking a small lake at the rear of the property.
