WHITE HOUSE

This spacious one story house in southern California refers to the vernacular of the French estate houses that colonized the Caribbean. White painted brick, french doors, deep shaded porches, antique french limestone paving and low pitched tile roofs suited the arid climate and life style of the client (and interior designer for the project). The white brick is brought into the entry vestibule and the dining room contrasting the dark stained reclaimed wood floors. High wood beamed ceilings add detail to the comfortable open plan rooms.
